What better way to celebrate the National Day of the Cowboy than a special cowboy and cowgirl edition. There is a little bit of cowboy or cowgirl in everyone, so we know you are really going to enjoy this month's issue.

In addition, we have great news! Not only do we have special cowboy and cowgirl articles, but this month we added a very special columnist to our contributing family. Baxter Black will be contributing his special Cowboy Poetry every month, and I cannot tell you how excited I am to have Baxter on board with our magazine. I have always been a great fan of his poetry. It is such an honor to welcome him to Equestrian Network Magazine.

Mym (M.Y. Mim) did the research and provided us with some great cowboy and cowgirl articles, from "Who Are the Cowboys of the 21st Century?" to the Resolution of the Day of the Cowboy and members of the Cowboy and Cowgirl Hall of Fame. She also provided a photo essay of cowboy and cowgirl hats and the great western art furniture of John Varian. And we are featuring the Appaloosa breed, which played such a colorful role in Native American history, as well a great story about two mustang stallions, "Lewis and Clark."

Our columnists have once again given us great content, continuing our educational articles about horsemanship and equine issues. I think we have something for everyone this month. We have a great issue and we hope you enjoy reading it as much as we did putting it together.
