Autumn may be winding down, but ENM is just getting hotter. I get excited every month to see each new issue unfold. And this month I am very impressed with the diversity and the quantity of interesting articles.
|
| |
To try and describe every article in this short synopsis would be futile, but I am excited about having many disciplines, many breeds and many different subjects covered. This issue features articles about cowboy mounted shooting, the elegance of dressage, Roman Cossack riding, driving, a trip to Ireland, grooming tips, preparing for winter, wound management, a Trojan horse, fantasy horses and real-life touching stories. We have humor and moments of tears, the story of a frail mustang foal that saved a human's life, the Lusitano breed, how to keep boarding enjoyable, dealing with the loss of horse, and the town of Kalamazoo's Mounted Unit.

|
We are also excited that Frank Bell has joined our writing team and will be sharing his amazing stories of horses he has worked with and learned from. In this issue, Julie Goodnight teaches us equitation and Jerry Tindell shows us how to get a horse to stand like a statue. Baxter Black describes his "Kinda Truck" and Linda Tellington-Jones tells the amazing story of EEG's on a horse receiving TTouch. Bob Smith discusses the care of quarter cracks and, believe it or not, there is even more.
|
| |
We even have some million dollar money-making ideas, so be sure to check every article. And as always... it's totally free. |
| |
In addition, if you haven't read some past issues of ENM, we have more good news. Now we have search capability. Try it out and send us your comments. We intend to add more advances to this robust feature in the near future. Next month we have even more surprises. |

Hi Gary, just read your very fun article in equestmagazine on 'What Is in a Name'. I am the communications director for Divide Horsemen's Association - we are located in Cool, CA and serve all the riders in the area: Auburn, Georgetown, Greenwood, Coloma, Pilot Hill, Garden Valley, and any one in any surrounding area who wishes to join. I would love to paraphrase, copy and quote much of what you have written in your 'name' article for our local horse club newsletter. I really enjoyed reading it, as I also have just purchased a new horse and am having quite a time finding the right name for him! If you give me permission that would be great - I of course would list you and Equestrian Network Magazine as the source. Of course, I will totally understand if you would rather not. Thanks very much, Pam Greer |

You Bet, Pam, we are glad you enjoyed it. |

I would love to see an article in your magazine about Rocky Mountain horses, Kentucky Mountain horses and Mountain Pleasure horses. |
| |
As an owner of a Rocky Mountain people around this area do not know anything about this wonderful breed. |

Thank You
