EQUESTRIAN NETWORK MAGAZINE "GIVES BACK" TO NON-PROFIT EQUINE ORGANIZATIONS AND GROUPS |
| |
Equestrian Network Magazine ( www.equestmagazine.com ) (ENM) has announced plans to recognize and highlight non-profit organizations and groups working to improve the equestrian community. Each month an equestrian-related 501(c)3 organization will be featured and/or given free advertising in a new feature called "Giving Back." |
| |
Though ENM has provided free advertising and editorial space to selected non-profit organizations and clubs since its first issue in January 2006, they are now providing a regular space for formal recognition. |
| |
Garry Stauber, General Manager of Equestrian Network Magazine stated, "We wish to be good stewards of the medium we're utilizing to provide information about organizations which are striving to help the equestrian community. This is not only a large part of our charter, it's also our responsibility." |
| |
In the past ENM has also been able to highlight non-profit organizations in its regular features like "Spotlight on Clubs and Organizations", "Horse in the Spotlight", and "Featured Equestrian." |
| |
ENM has published articles and/or donated free advertising to organizations including the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association, the Equine Facilitated Mental Health Association, "Leave No Trace," the Backcountry Horsemen of California, therapeutic riding programs such as DreamPower Horsemanship and Hearts Adaptive, the Certified Horsemanship Association, Lone Star Equine Rescue, High School Rodeo Association, American Ranch Horse Association and Pony Club of America. |
| |
"We're excited to have a formal venue now to highlight the good works of others to our community," said Garry Stauber. "This new feature 'Giving Back' will begin with our September 2006 issue". |
| |
Non-profit organizations are encouraged to submit their information to info@equestmagazine.com with "Giving Back" in the subject line. Submitters should limit articles to 1000 words or less and include a description of what services they provide to the equine community and a brief history of their organization. Each monthone organization will be selected to be advertised and/or included in "Giving Back". |
