HORSE IN THE SPOTLIGHT

Lessons From a Horse
by Joanne Rummel
Every month Equestrian Network Magazine features a story about a special horse and the people in its life. These stories are told in our readers' own words. If you have a story of 800 words or less, send it to info@equestmagazine.com with "Horse Story" in the subject line.

CLUBS AND ORGANIZATIONS

"Spotlight On Clubs and Organizations" is the place for you to tell us about your favorite equestrian club or organization. All clubs or organizations submitted should not be business or for-profit organizations and preferably have national impact. Send your article to info@equestmagazine.com with "Clubs" in the subject line. If your article is chosen to be published, your equestrian club or organization will have national exposure on Equestrian Network Magazine.

WRITTEN BY YOU

Riding in the Rental String
by Rosie Passantino
Every month Equestrian Network Magazine features a short story written by one of our readers. It can be a story about an adventure you had with your horse, a fictional short story, or poetry. If you have a submission send it to info@equestmagazine.com and write "Something New" in the subject line. This month, Rosie Passantino sent us a story.

GIVING BACK

EquiTrails
by Ellen Smith
Each month an equestrian-related 501(c)3 organization will be featured and/or given free advertising in a new feature called "Giving Back."
If you have a charity you would like us to highlight, send your article about your charity to info@equestmagazine.com and write "Giving Back" in the subject line. This month we are featuring EquiTrails.

Mac and Jill chronicles the adventures of a girl and her horse. And her dog. Okay, and her chicken. Red-haired Jill is an animal psychologist. Mac is her horse. Jill bears an uncanny resemblance to the artist who created her. As for who the human role models for the animal characters are......nobody is talking.
